Alvin Stardust At The Wheeltappers - Working Man's Glam

Alvin putting in a dynamic performance at THE WHEELTAPPERS AND SHUNTERS SOCIAL CLUB in 1975.The wheeltappers was a TV VARIETY SHOW set a fictional WORKING MEN'S CLUB in the North of England. Given that the programme generally featured acts who worked the club circuit, the appearance of a high flying chart act like Mr Stardust is slightly incongruous but  highly pleasurable!
